Inspire Youth! The Big Brothers/Big Sisters program of New Mexico needs a few mentors, especially Hispanic mentors. They've teamed up with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to kick off a national Hispanic mentoring initiative in Albuquerque aimed at getting Hispanic adults to mentor a Hispanic child. NM Youth Challenge The New Mexico Youth Challenge Academy is accepting applications for its next class. Cadets complete a 22-week residential program that includes the opportunity of earning a GED, vocational studies and up to 18 hours of college credits. Applicants must not currently be enrolled in high school, must be between 16 and 18 years old and drug free. The Youth Challenge is FREE to New Mexico residents. History in Your Backyard! The dinosaurs have arrived at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science! History comes alive with a life sized replica of seismosaurus, one of the largest creatures to ever walk the earth!
